Our classes offer exercises for all levels from beginner, to intermediate, through to advanced.
REFORMER
50 Minutes
The Reformer is excellent for working on strength and flexibility at the same time. On the Reformer, we often hear “it is a stretch or a strengthen?” to which answer is always a “YES”. The Reformer provides exercise resistance that allows you to work and develop good alignment, core strength, and control. A specialized machine that helps to target connected muscle groups, so you form long, lean and toned muscles. The Pilates Instincts classes will provide you with exciting challenges while activating muscles you never thought you had. Enjoy group instruction with personal feedback, and that ensures results. You will complete an effective, no-impact workout that is amazing for your joints. Reformer classes will strengthen and lengthen your entire body from your head to your toes. You will finish each class feeling taller and rewarded for your effort.
Reformer Session – 50 Minutes
This 50 minute session uses a Reformer, a specialized machine that helps to target smaller muscle groups. You will learn how to form long, lean and toned muscles.
Reformer Express Session – 35 Minutes
A shorter, fast-paced Reformer session for those with a busy schedule.
STUDIO EQUIPMENT
50 Minutes
This session incorporates mixed equipment, utilizing the Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Chair, and other small apparatuses on your individually developed program. These classes are beneficial for clients seeking specific targeted workouts, with a range of equipment that creates a new challenge to progress you safely forward on your journey.
This session is suitable for women who are pregnant or who have recently had a baby.
MAT PILATES
50 Minutes
This class utilises small props and traditional Mat Pilates exercises for you to achieve longer, leaner, stronger muscles. On the mat, your body weight provides resistance against gravity, making the workout more challenging.
Our Mat classes are suitable for beginners through to advanced level.
MOTR
50 Minutes
A MOTR is an ultra-smart foam roller with resistance bands for a precise full body workout. The MOTR is fantastic because it gives you instant feedback on your balance, form and coordination. If you need to improve your strength, balance, agility, conditioning and cardio, these classes are ideal. MOTR classes add more challenge as it incorporates Reformer and Mat Exercises and takes them to a new level of balance and endurance.
Many exercises are similar to ones you perform in Pilates classes, but feel very different on the MOTR. It is a new challenge that many of our clients love.
THE FRANKLIN METHOD®
30 Minutes – 1.5 Hours
Also known as dynamic neuro-cognitive imagery, this is a ground-breaking movement education system that combines creative visualization, embodied anatomy, physical exercises and mental exercises to improve the function and health of our bodies.
Franklin Method® classes are for posture, alignment and movement. We offer various sessions from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours’ duration.
