Pilates 4 Dancers is a session designed for dancers. From ballet to hip hop, these sessions help control the spinal movements and strengthen the core.
Shannon is a leading expert in this field of utilising the Pilates Method creating profound results of technique, discipline and strength, in a dancers Pilates session.
Specialised, refined and modified traditional Pilates exercises utilising all the studio equipment is taught in a simple straight forward manner. These sessions are full of tips and insights that will allow your dance technique and confidence to excel beyond practice into know-how!
My International Principal Artist and Advanced Diploma in Dance background allows me to teach experientially the theory, and the biomechanics of the intricacies of what is required to be heathy and wise within a dance technique. Endless amount of knowledge and experience has been passed down to me, that’s been applied and tested, and these classes honour this tradition.
